Box top clipping no longer! You can now just scan a receipt to get credit. Even if you are unsure if your purchase has any box top items, just scan it!
Below is a picture of the app. If you have any questions let us know!!! So far we have earned $29! That’s FREE money for our school! There are still products that have the “clip” version on it. Still cut those and send them in. That receipt can also be scanned and HCS will get double credit for it! The 5th annual Husky Hustle is coming to HCS! The Husky Hustle is a noncompetitive "fun run" and family event. In preparation, students will have 3 weeks to raise money and collect sponsors to support them in the fun run event. This year the event will be held on SATURDAY, September 28th from 11:30-2:30. In addition to the fun run, there will be a DJ, prizes, games, dunk tank, silent auction, many food trucks and NEW THIS YEAR a ninja warrior obstacle course! The HCS community is all invited to attend this event (students, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, etc.) so invite as many as you would like! More information will be sent home at the beginning of the school year. We are so very excited to host this event again and we can not wait to see everyone there! Don’t forget, a team of HCS teachers will be doing a special presentation at the HCS PTO gathering on Tuesday evening. They are going to be sharing information about some of the strategies that they use to help beginning readers acquire skills. They will also be sharing tips for fostering reading outside of school. Childcare will be available. I hope you can join us for this gathering!
Did you know there is a site for everything for the HCS bookfair? Fair hours, volunteer link, Ewallet sign up, online fair. Click the link below:

Congratulations to Miss Riley's class for submitting 231 Box Tops! We are almost halfway to our goal of 20,000 Box Tops for this school year. We want to send a HUGE THANK YOU to all parents for checking and trimming those Box Tops! You have made a challenging task manageable. The kids LOVE having Paws Jr. in their class - so keep sending in your clippings - every Box Top counts! No need to "save them up". By sending in Box Tops every month, we are able to submit them and reduce the number of expired Box Tops. This month we had less than 15 expired Box Tops - and we submitted 1292!. Thank you, thank you! Please keep up the great work!! 🙂
